Tarifa: The City

As the sun came out and the rain abated, it seemed the perfect day for a journey.

I met up with friends and we carried on to Tarifa. A small town, Tarifa boasts of high winds and fabulous beaches. Dotted along the cliffs heading down to the seashore, wind turbines, working hard!

We arrived at the port and made our way through the old city. It is beautiful. I was fascinated by the doorways, thee tiles, the mixture of styles and graceful beauty of the Moroccan influence.

The day was perfect. Here are some shots of the city.
