The Spectacular Spanish Wedding: At the Church

We headed from Malaga to Algeciras just ahead of the rain storm. We were only a few hours away, and we passed many remnants of trees from the forest fires that had swept through the region in some not so distant past.

We arrived to the port a day before our dear friends got married. Algeciras is a hub for those transiting from Spain to Morocco, and also steps away from Gibraltar and the windy beaches of Tariffa.

After gushing rain, the day cleared up and the sun came out just in time for the wedding.

It was a beautiful ceremony and we were delighted to have witnessed these two beautiful people get married. We had the honour of being accompanied by good friends throughout.

Here are a few snapshots of the beginning of the day.

Once the realization is accepted that even between the closest human beings infinite distances continue, a wonderful living side by side can grow, if they succeed in loving the distance between them which makes it possible for each to see the other whole against the sky.
