Harvesting Cinnamon

Alicio, a friend of Sergio’s took us to have his parents on their farm. We arrived just at dusk to see the farm house ensconced in trees and walked into the farmhouse.

It was an enchanting visit and we got a glimpse of how magical farm living can be once we make it there.

The oranges and cinnamon warmed our hearts. Alicio took cuttings from the bark of the tree and told me to dry it. They pulled oranges down off the branches.

His mother told me when we are neighbors and living in our house she will bring me two chickens.

It was the perfect kick start to our renewed planning process. I am so glad I got to visit.
